The Magician's House marks an impressive debut slim volume by. Andy has worked as a Latin teacher, a journalist, a mental health nurse and much in between. Since retiring in 2021 he has written poetry in earnest and is widely published in poetry magazines. In 2022 he won the Fresh Voice award at the Wigtown Book Festival. He lives along the Solway Firth in Dumfriesshire.
